Activities performed under CSR initiative
Education Infrastructure Support
As part of our ongoing CSR initiatives to promote quality education at the grassroots level, the Company donated classroom benches to a government school in Bhinar, Bhiwandi. This intervention was undertaken to strengthen basic educational infrastructure and improve classroom ergonomics. By providing a more comfortable and structured learning environment, the initiative aims to enhance students’ concentration, participation, and overall academic engagement.
Voluntary Blood Donation Drive
In line with the Company’s commitment to community health and social responsibility, a voluntary blood donation drive was organized to support local healthcare facilities and help address critical blood requirements. Employees actively participated in the initiative, demonstrating strong civic engagement and a collective commitment to saving lives. The drive reinforced the importance of timely medical support, community service, and responsible corporate citizenship.
Rainwater Harvesting Initiative for Sustainable Water Management
To promote sustainable water management practices, the Company implemented a rainwater harvesting system in Bhiwandi. This initiative aims to conserve water resources, reduce dependence on external water supply, and strengthen local water security. In addition to infrastructure development, the project also contributes to raising awareness within the local community about responsible water usage and long-term environmental sustainability.
Cleanliness Drive at Sanjan, Gujarat
In alignment with national cleanliness and hygiene initiatives, the Company organized a cleanliness drive at Sanjan, Gujarat. Employees voluntarily participated in cleaning public spaces and sensitizing the local community on the importance of proper waste management, personal hygiene, and environmental cleanliness. The initiative contributed to creating a cleaner, healthier public environment and encouraged responsible civic behavior.

Carbon Offset & Afforestation Initiative
Project Overview
As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action, the organization supported a CERE (Centre for Environmental Research & Education) aimed at long-term carbon sequestration and ecosystem restoration. The initiative contributes directly to mitigating climate change while promoting biodiversity and sustainable land use.
Project Description
Under this initiative, a total of 3,226 trees were planted at Mondy’s Organic Farm through the Urban Afforestation Project. The plantation is designed to sequester atmospheric carbon dioxide over a long-term period while enhancing soil health, local biodiversity, and ecological resilience.
The project is estimated to offset 710 Metric Tonnes (MT) of CO₂ over a period of 15 years, contributing meaningfully to the organization’s voluntary carbon offset goals.
